September 25, 2003 -- THE folks behind "K Street," the quasi-reality show about Washington lobbyists, don't know where the real K Street is. Washington paper The Hill conducted a poll at the show's premiere party at the Palm the other night, asking whether K Street runs east-west or north-south. George Clooney, "K Street" co-executive producer, said, "No comment." His partner Steven Soderbergh said, "I don't know. I have a map on my wall . . . I'm still trying to figure this place out." Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform, and Terry McAuliffe, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, had it right. "For the record," said The Hill's Bill Thomas, "it goes east-west, except during rush hour, when it doesn't go anywhere."
I think Katrina will have moved out by the time I get home. Haven't seen her for weeks anyways.
