Skunkeye was going to avoid the weekend crowds and venture down to the cherry blossoms today but it looks like this rain will not let up. Seems like every one is getting sick – we literally had to force the Korean Chief to go home today he was so contagious. It makes me really nervous because it was this time last year that my grandmother came down with pneumonia and was in the hospital for several months. Of course she is back on her feet now but that period was one of scariest in my life and I’m so afraid of giving her germs – and I want to see her and have things to take care of at her house (um, buying groceries) this weekend.
My folks are returning in August – it seemed to go by so fast – and I need to figure out how and when to visit them in Korea before they leave. Also would like to spend a few days in Manila – I really miss my friends and family there, and especially want to see Marit’s children. I’m such a slave to my rent, dunno how I can swing it…
